Meditation for Healing & Stress Reduction
Meditation has been practiced by priests, philosophers, gurus and ordinary people for centuries. It had led to amazing discoveries and helped countless individuals to transform their physical and mental health.
The modern age, with our epidemic of stress and rushed living, calls for the help of meditation more than ever. Doctors and therapists, as well as spiritual teachers of all kinds, are prescribing meditation to their patients and congregations for treatment of numerous physical and emotional ailments. Yet, at the beginning, many people find it quite foreign and confusing.
In this introductory workshop, Vera will help to simplify the practice of meditation and get you off on the right foot!
First, we will discuss how stress leads to illness and cover the health benefits of meditation as well what meditation means and an overview of the many types of meditation that can be utilized on your path to better health, more positive thinking and a greater sense of peace.
Together we will also practice three of the more accessible forms of meditation, followed by a discussion of the learning curve and roadblocks that one may encounter when first adding meditation to your life.
Finally, we will finish up with a roundtable Q&A session, which allows Vera to address your personal questions and concerns as you embark on the journey of creating a new outlook and a glowing new life, with meditation.

Bliss, Baby, Bliss: Prenatal Meditation for Postnatal Bliss
No life change is so BIG as becoming a parent. You will love it, and also be worn to pieces by it. You will need all of your tools of calm and strength to make it a success.
This prenatal meditation and spiritual awareness workshop helps you get in touch with what matters most to you, find faith in the process of birth, and build a strong connection to your inner peace and divine compass which can help guide you in your ever-changing journey through parenthood and allow you to be the loving touchstone that your child deserves.
In this workshop we will cover –
This workshop is roughly 3.5 hours in length, but can sometimes run long (you know us ladies like to talk.) Mama's who get physically uncomfortable are perfectly welcome to leave early and drop in at the next offering to catch what they missed. Audio recording by cell phone is also permitted.
